అయితే దురదృష్టమో లేదా కొంతమంది అజ్ఞానమో తెలీదు కానీ కొన్ని

సినిమాలలో శ్రీ కృష్ణుని గురించి తప్పుగా తీయటం, ఎవరైతే హీరో కి ఇద్దరు

భార్యలు ఉండటం లేదా ఎవరికైన వేరే మహిళతో ప్రేమాయణం లాంటివి ఉంటే

వెంటనే వారిని కృష్ణునితో పోలుస్తున్నారు. మంచి వాడైతే రాముడని, కొంచెం

సంస్కారం తప్పి ఉంటే కృష్ణుడని ఈ విధంగా పోలుస్తున్నారు సినిమాలలో.

ముఖ్యంగా రాస లీలలు. దాని అసలు అర్ధం తెలుసుకోకుండా ఇష్టం వచ్చినట్లు

ఉహించుకుంటూ కృషుడిని తప్పుగా చిత్రీకరిస్తున్నారు.

శ్రీ కృష్ణ రాస లీలలు అంటే అసలు అర్ధం ఏమిటో ఇప్పుడు చూద్దాం.

ద్వాపర యుగంలో కృష్ణ పరమాత్ముని బాల్య సమయంలో గోకులంలో

ఆడవాళ్ళకి కొన్ని ఆరోగ్య సమస్యలు ఉండేవి. అంటే రుతు చక్రం

సంబంధించిన సమస్యలు, గర్భస్థు సమస్యలు ఇంకా ఇలాంటి సమస్యలు

ఉండేవి. వాటికీ వైద్యం నిమిత్తం కృష్ణ పరమాత్మ పౌర్ణమి నాడు రాత్రి యమున

తీరంలో ఆడవాళ్ళతో ఒక రకమైన నృత్యమ్ చేయించే వాళ్ళు. రాస క్రీడ అంటే

' క్రీడ'అంటే నాట్యం, రాసము అంటే ఒకరకమైన నాట్యం అంటే అందరూ

కలిసి గుండ్రంగా తిరుగుతూ చేసే నాట్యానికే 'రాసము' అని పేరు. అలా

ఎందుకు చేయాల్సి వచ్చిందంటే పౌర్ణమి నాటి చంద్రుని వెలుగులో ఔషాద

గుణాలు ఎక్కువ. అవి యమున నది పైనుంచి వీచే గాలిలో కలిసి ఆ ఔషాదం

గాలి రూపంలో అక్కడ నాట్యం చేస్తున్న ఆడవాళ్ళ శ్వాస ద్వారా వాళ్ల శరీరంలో

ఆ ఔషాదం చేరి వారికీ వున్న ఆరోగ్య సమస్యలు పోయేవి. మరి గుండ్రంగానే

ఎందుకు తిరగాలంటే యమున నది నుంచి వచ్చే గాలి గుండ్రంగా తిరగటం

వల్ల వారి మధ్యే ఎక్కువ మోతాదులో ఔషాదం గాలి రూపంలో వాళ్ల చుట్టూ

కేంద్రీకృతమై వాళ్ళ శరీరంలో చేరుతుంది. అలా గుండ్రంగా తిరగటాన్నే

రాసము అంటారు. అయితే ఇలా ఆడదాము అని పిలిస్తే ఎవరు రారు అని శ్రీ

కృష్ణుడు తన వేణు గానంతో ఆడవాళ్ళని యమున తీరానికి రప్పించే వాళ్ళు.

The True Meaning of Sri Krishna’s Rasa Leelas

There is no need to introduce Lord Sri Krishna anew. Sri Krishna is the divine being who always stands by those who uphold righteousness (Dharma), regardless of distinctions or differences among people.

However, due to ignorance or misunderstanding, some movies portray Sri Krishna incorrectly. Whenever a hero has two wives or is involved in a romantic relationship with another woman, people immediately compare him to Krishna. In films, a virtuous person is often compared to Lord Rama, while someone who deviates from traditional moral standards is compared to Krishna. This is especially true regarding Krishna’s Rasa Leelas. Without understanding their true meaning, people imagine things as they please and misrepresent Krishna.

Let us now look at what the Rasa Leelas of Sri Krishna truly mean.

According to this explanation, during Lord Krishna’s childhood in the Dwapara Yuga, many women in Gokula suffered from various health issues, such as menstrual disorders, reproductive problems, and other related ailments. As a form of treatment, Sri Krishna would organize a special dance on full-moon nights along the banks of the Yamuna River.

The term Rasa Kreeda is explained as follows: Kreeda means dance, and Rasa refers to a particular type of dance in which people move together in a circular formation. This circular dance was performed because the moonlight on a full-moon night was believed to possess enhanced medicinal qualities. These qualities would mix with the breeze blowing across the Yamuna River, and through breathing while dancing, the women would absorb these beneficial properties into their bodies, helping to alleviate their health problems.

The women danced in a circle because the circular movement was believed to concentrate the medicinal air around them, allowing a greater amount of it to enter their bodies. This circular dance was called Rasa.

If Krishna had simply invited the women to participate in such an activity, they might not have come. Therefore, it is said that he would attract them to the banks of the Yamuna with the enchanting music of his flute.
